1. PNM Good Neighbor Fund

  • Description: This program offers emergency assistance to low-income households at risk of disconnection. It provides help once a year to those whose income is at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level. To qualify, you need to have a disconnect notice and proof of approval for LIHEAP or SNAP benefits.

2. Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

  • Description: This federal program assists low-income households with energy costs. Applications are accepted from October 1st through August 31st, as long as funds are available.

4. The Salvation Army Albuquerque Family Services

  • Description: Offers limited financial assistance and case management to low-income individuals and families, including rental and utility assistance (subject to available funds).
